Everyone knows we’re living through a digital revolution – but did you know that we’re in the midst of a dental revolution as well?
Our industry has embraced some incredibly innovative technology, and at smilogy, we’re no exception. We’re proud to offer smile makeovers at our smilogy clinics, because we love its endless possibilities.
So what is smile design? And why is this advanced method of smile transformation so exciting?

We have to thank the Brazilians for smile makeovers – it was all started by one of their dental technicians, a man named Christian Coachman. He’s changed the way things are done in the aesthetic dental industry, and we love it.
At smilogy, we got our name thanks to the fact we merge smiles with science – hence “smilogy”. It’s a portmanteau, if you’re interested, which is basically a fancy term for two words smushed together.
There’s both an art and a science to smile design. You pop in for a 3D scan at a convenient smilogy location near you. We then take a series of photos of your existing smile and ask you some questions about the things you may want to change.
Next, our Australian dentists and orthodontists get to work on your custom smile makeover. This can include, but is not limited to:
Clear Aligners
Smile whitening
Veneers
Teeth shaving
Any combination that’s relevant
design your very own treatment plan
Opt for subtle improvements or achieve your wildest smile dreams. We all have different goals and the smilogy team will work with you to achieve yours.
To ensure the treatment plan that’s right for you, the professionals look at technical things like aesthetic principles and golden ratios as well as your photos and input.
Ultimately it’s your choice which selection of services you go for, and you’ll have a range of packages to choose from.
You’ll see mocked up photos of your potential finished look. This is usually the real selling point to our customers – if you’re a little impatient and want to know how you’d look at your best, you’ll love this showcase too.
From there, you’ll build a custom treatment plan that is exactly right for you. You won’t make any mistakes, because you’ll have already seen that the investment will be a good one.
it’s all in the details
We design smiles that work in harmony with your features. After all – balance is beauty! You’ll see a preview of your new look before you commit, putting you in the driving seat.
Smile design is possible thanks to top technology. Our 3D scans are 100% accurate and allow us to get the full picture of your existing smile, literally. They also eliminate the need for lots and lots of visits to see us, because many of our services can be offered digitally.
building trust
Your smile is your own – it shows off your personality. With smilogy, you’ll know you’ve made the right choice because our Australian team are the ones you can trust.
Empowerment is so important to us here, which is why we’re so customer-centric. You’re a co-designer at every step of your smile makeover journey – after all, the smile is going on your face!
