Step 2: Digital Scans and Records

At this stage we may:

Take any necessary X-rays to understand your jaw and roots

Step 3: Your Personalised 3D Treatment Plan
Using your digital records, we’ll create a 3D treatment plan that maps out how your teeth will move over time.

How many sets of aligners you will need

Step 4: Fitting Your First Set of Aligners
Once your aligners are ready, you’ll come back to Smilogy for your fitting appointment.
During this visit, we will:
Make sure your first set of aligners fits comfortably
Show you how to put them in and take them out

Go through cleaning and care instructions

Step 5: Wearing Your Aligners at Home
Most of your treatment happens at home, quietly and gradually.
You’ll:
Wear your aligners 20–22 hours a day
Remove them for meals and for brushing/flossing
Switch to a new set of aligners every 1–2 weeks (as directed)
Some tips we’ll talk you through at your fitting:
Keep your aligners in their case when you’re not wearing them
Avoid hot drinks with aligners in (it can warp the plastic)
Rinse aligners in cool water and follow our recommended cleaning routine
